Tributes at sea
We will respectfully and discreetly assist you in honouring the last wishes of your loved ones. The scattering of cremated remains at sea is authorised but is subject to specific regulations, in particular :
- Minimum distance : 300 metres from the coast for the scattering of ashes, or 3 miles from the coast for the immersion of the urn, which must be biodegradable (law of 2/01/1986 and article L. 2213-23 of the CGCT).
- Prohibition: It is forbidden to scatter cremated remains in a river or watercourse.
